Erectile dysfunction (ED), also known as impotence, is the inability to get and maintain an erection that is sufficient for satisfactory sexual intercourse. viagra online sales co uk viagra online buy viagra kamagra online kamagra online review Buy viagra on internet Featured online offers for PROPECIA buy propecia online Is the patient taking medications that can contribute to erectile dysfunction? What precautions should be taken when using vardenafil (Levitra)? Metabolism (breakdown) of vardenafil can be slowed by aging, liver disease, and concurrent use of certain medications (such as erythromycin, ketoconazole [Nizoral], and protease inhibitors). Slowed breakdown allows vardenafil to accumulate in the body and potentially increase the risk for side effects. Therefore, in men over 65 years of age, with liver dysfunction, or who are also taking medication(s) that can slow the breakdown of vardenafil, the doctor will initiate vardenafil at low doses to avoid its accumulation. Men with a rare heart condition known as long QT syndrome should not take vardenafil since this may lead to abnormal heart rhythms. The QT interval is the time it takes for the heart's muscle to recover after it has contracted. The QT interval is measured with an electrocardiogram (EKG). Some people have longer than normal QT intervals, and they may develop potentially life-threatening abnormal heart rhythms, especially when given certain medications. Since long QT syndrome can be inherited, men with a family history of long QT syndrome should not take vardenafil. Furthermore, vardenafil is not recommended for men who are taking medications that can affect the QT interval such as quinidine (Quinaglute, Quinidex), procainamide (Pronestyl; Procan-SR; Procanbid), amiodarone (Cordarone), and sotalol (Betapace). Possible problems with prostheses include mechanical breakdown and infection. Mechanical problems have diminished in recent years because of technological advances. Call Your Doctor immediately or Go to an Emergency Room If: You have an extended or painful erection, unrelated to sexual desire, lasting more than a few hours. Drug therapy for erectile dysfunction: In a small number of cases, people who have taken sildenafil have complained of headaches, flushing and stomach-ache. It can also cause some visual problems, including an increased sensitivity to light, blurred vision or an inability to tell the difference between blue and green. Men who are already taking medicines that contain nitrates, such as nitro-glycerine (usually for angina or heart disease), are strongly advised not to use Viagra as this is dangerous and may result in a heart attack. Other similar drugs are tadalafil (Cialis)and vardenafil (Levitra). cheapest cialis online australia cialis online without prescription Buy viagra on internet levitra online store levitra online

You have now read a little bit about the history of each of the original thirteen American colonies.  These include (from North to South):

1.    New Hampshire
2.    Massachusetts (and its annex Maine)
3.    New York
4.    Rhode Island Thirteen Colonies
5.    Connecticut
6.    New Jersey
7.    Pennsylvania
8.    Delaware
9.    Maryland
10.  Virginia
11.  North Carolina
12.  South Carolina
13.  Georgia

In this unit you will spend some time getting to know each of the thirteen colonies.  You will be asked to provide the date of founding, the name of the major pioneer responsible for founding, the major industry of the time, and who or what the colony was named for.

Do not get distracted by statehood – these colonies have yet to fight for their freedoms.  The state flower and song is irrelevant right now.  Simply concentrate on the colonial period leading up to the Revolutionary War.

Go to the Social Studies for Kids website to obtain your information.  Click on each colony to get specific information.  Once you are on the colony page you can find more detailed information by clicking the links under the “More on Colonial (fill in the state name here)” title.

When you are done with your exploration of all of the colonies you will choose just one to do a report on.  Fill out the report sheet and then write about 500 words about your colony. Include the important information you found in the initial assignment, plus any other interesting details that gives insight into how they lived.  Study the maps below before moving on.
